## Synopsis

All Rise (2019-2023) is an American network legal drama created by Greg Spottiswood for CBS and OWN. Simone Missick plays judge Lola Carmichael, a Los Angeles County courthouse jurist, alongside Wilson Bethel as attorney Mark Callan, Jessica Camacho as Emily Lopez, and Marg Helgenberger as Lisa Benner. The series spans three seasons and 58 episodes, presenting a steady stream of courtroom cases that turn on everyday disputes, while the colleagues juggle heavy dockets and their own personal lives. Each episode mixes case-of-the-week hearings with ongoing threads about careers, friendships and romance, so the stakes of individual trials blend with the staff's private struggles. The tone is warm and earnest, with an emphasis on camaraderie among judges, lawyers, clerks, bailiffs and cops who share the same building. Set in present-day Los Angeles, the show has the feel of a dependable network courthouse series, and fans of Law & Order, The Good Wife and Night Court will find familiar pleasures in its procedural rhythm, ensemble warmth and courtroom banter.
