## Synopsis

Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It (2020-2022) is a Japanese animated romantic comedy series produced by Zero-G and BloomZ, broadcast on TOKYO MX, BS11 and AT-X, and adapted from a manga. Graduate researchers Shinya Yukimura (voiced by Yuma Uchida) and Ayame Himuro (voiced by Sora Amamiya) are two scientists who quietly care for each other and decide to settle their feelings the only way they know, by treating love as a theory to be solved through experiment and proof. Their attempts are gently derailed by friends and lab colleagues, including Kotonoha Kanade (voiced by Natsuko Hara) and the sardonic Ikeda (voiced by Ryotaro Okiayu), whose interference turns each hypothesis into a small comedy of errors. The engine of the show is the gap between cool academic method and flustered human longing, and each episode is built from a single awkward experiment, a lab mishap or a campus errand. Across two seasons of twelve episodes each, the series stays in a light, affectionate register, with dry wit, earnest embarrassment and the sweetness of slow-building attraction. Its university setting feels like a modern Japanese campus, far from grand historical drama. Fans of Kaguya-sama: Love Is War and The Big Bang Theory will find resonance in its nerdy romantic rivalry and playful intellectual banter.
