## Synopsis

Taco Chronicles (2019-present) is a Mexican food documentary docuseries created by Pablo Cruz for Netflix. Each episode follows one of the most popular taco styles and traces its long, rich and often overlooked history, moving between street vendors, home kitchens and the regional communities where the dishes first took shape. Rather than a single host guiding the viewer, the series relies on the cooks themselves, their families and their neighbourhoods to explain how a humble filling, tortilla or salsa became a national favourite. The structure is a standalone-episode format, so each taco story can be watched on its own, and the run has so far spanned three seasons with 21 episodes. The tone is warm, curious and appetizing, with the camera lingering on sizzling griddles, hand-pressed tortillas and busy market stalls. Viewers who enjoy Chef's Table, Ugly Delicious and Somebody Feed Phil will find the same blend of culinary craft, cultural storytelling and travel-style appetite. The series suits anyone who wants to learn where everyday Mexican food came from while getting hungry along the way.
