## Synopsis

Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun (2019-present) is a Japanese shonen anime series created from the manga by Osamu Nishi and produced for NHK Educational TV. Fourteen-year-old Iruma Suzuki (voiced by Ayumu Murase) is abandoned and sold to a demon, then finds himself living with his adoptive demon grandfather, Naberius Kalego (Daisuke Ono), who is principal of a school in the Netherworld. Iruma is timid and easily frightened, and his daily engine is simple and concrete: surviving classes, rivals, and strange school assignments while trying not to be exposed as human. Alice Asmodeus (Ryohei Kimura), a fellow student, and Clara Valac (Ayaka Asai) anchor the ensemble of classmates whose lessons, clubs, and rivalries fill each episode. The series unfolds as a four-season serialized story with a gentle, comforting rhythm, bright humor, and a steady undercurrent of earnest encouragement as its underdog grows more confident. Its warm, cozy register and playful monster-school setting suit viewers who enjoy the school comedies of Ouran High School Host Club and the fish-out-of-water charm of Monster Musume. Fans of cheerful supernatural coming-of-age anime will find it an easy, reassuring watch with a steadily growing sense of belonging.
