## Synopsis

En la Boca del Lobo (2014-2015) is a Colombian national-television true crime drama series created by William Rempel for RCN and UniMás. Based on the investigative book At the Devil's Table, it follows engineer and soldier Ricardo Salgado (Luis Fernando Hoyos), who rises through the ranks to become head of security for the godfather of the Cali cartel, one of the largest criminal organizations in the world. Carolina Acevedo plays Lena Duque, and Saín Castro and Lucho Velasco play the Ramírez Orjuela brothers whose rivalry shapes the cartel's inner politics. The engine of the story is Salgado's dangerous balancing act: every favor he trades, every order he carries out, and every rival he must read moves him closer to the moment he can turn the organization against itself. Each episode is built from meetings, betrayals, surveillance, and tense negotiations among traffickers, politicians, and police. Told across a single season of eighty episodes, the series unfolds as one continuing story set in 1980s and 1990s Colombia, a world of Medellín and Cali violence and shifting alliances. Its tone is tense, grim, and paranoid, with a sober sense of how power corrodes everyone it touches. Fans of Narcos, Escobar: Paradise Lost, and Griselda will find resonance in its blend of real history, cartel intrigue, and insider suspense.
