## Synopsis

Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken! (2020) is a Japanese anime slice of life comedy series created for NHK G, produced by Science SARU. First-year high schooler Midori Asakusa (voiced by Sairi Ito) is a devoted anime fan who fills her sketchbook with endless ideas but has never taken a real step toward making animation. When her money-minded friend Sayaka Kanamori (voiced by Mutsumi Tamura) recognizes her talent, and fashion model classmate Tsubame Mizusaki (voiced by Misato Matsuoka) reveals her own wish to become an animator, the three launch an animation club. Their engine is the push to turn a fantasy world from their imaginations into a finished anime, and each episode is built around the concrete hurdles of budgets, drawing deadlines, technical limits and the friction between their very different temperaments. The 12-episode run is a single continuous story set in a contemporary Japanese high school and the studio life it imagines. The tone is buoyant and playful, with fast, energetic bursts of creative brainstorming balanced by warm friendship and a lingering sense of wonder about how fiction shapes the world. Fans of Shirobako, K-On! and Bocchi the Rock! will find a similar blend of school life and creative craft.
