## Synopsis

RuPaul's Drag Race UK (2019-present) is a British reality competition series created by RuPaul, Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato for BBC Three. RuPaul hosts and judges alongside Michelle Visage and Alan Carr, with guest judges appearing occasionally. Each season gathers a field of drag performers who compete for the title of the UK's next drag superstar, chasing charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent. The engine is the weekly ritual: contestants face runway looks, comedy and performance challenges, and a judging panel that decides who stays and who is sent home. Ten-episode seasons (and an opening eight-episode run) build a sense of camaraderie, rivalry and rising stakes as the field narrows. The atmosphere is campy, warm and irreverent, with sharp critiques delivered alongside playful banter and British comic timing. Produced by World of Wonder, the show is a transatlantic spin-off of the American franchise, bringing its signature mix of glamour, self-expression and celebration of drag culture to a British audience. Fans of RuPaul's Drag Race, Project Runway and Making the Cut will find resonance in its blend of creativity, competition and camp.
