## Synopsis

Brassic (2019-2025) is a British dark comedy crime series created by Daniel Brocklehurst and Joseph Gilgun for Sky One and Sky Max. Joseph Gilgun plays Vinnie O'Neill, a scheming working class lad whose dealing, scamming and bribing keeps tangling him up with his tight knit group of mates. Michelle Keegan plays Erin Croft, and Steve Evets appears as Jim, both part of the circle of people caught in the group's unconventional hustles. Each season follows the crew as their petty schemes escalate, so the comedy keeps turning into real danger, debts and fallout. The run spans seven seasons with one continuing story rather than standalone cases, and it is set in suburban northern England, where the grit of the streets shapes every plan. The tone blends sharp, profane banter with bleak edges and a loyalty that holds the friends together. Viewers who enjoy the grubby anti-heroics of Shameless and the criminal bungling of Snatch will find a similar resonance here.
