## Synopsis

I Hate Suzie is a British comedy-drama created by Billie Piper and Lucy Prebble for Sky Atlantic. Piper stars as Suzie Pickles, a former child star whose career is fading when her phone is hacked and a compromising photo circulates publicly. The series follows her frantic scramble to control a story she cannot stop, with each episode built from tense, humiliating and darkly funny confrontations with agents, friends, tabloids and a public that never forgets. Set in contemporary London's entertainment world, it balances brittle satire of celebrity culture with a raw, emotionally honest portrait of a woman trying to reclaim her identity. Its tone is biting, sardonic and irreverent, yet it carries real vulnerability beneath the comedy. Across its two short seasons, it forms one continuing story with a sharp, adult sensibility, and fans of Fleabag and Absolutely Fabulous will recognise its frank humour and its portrait of a woman who refuses to be defined by one public disaster.
