## Synopsis

The Ghost and Molly McGee (2021-2024) is an American animated family comedy created by Bill Motz and Bob Roth for Disney Channel. Across two seasons and seventy-eight short episodes, the series follows Molly McGee (Ashly Burch), a cheerful suburban girl whose life changes when a curse meant for someone else backfires and binds her to Scratch (Dana Snyder), a ghost who would rather be left alone. Their unlikely friendship pulls each of them through the ups and downs of their separate worlds, with Molly navigating ordinary family life at home alongside her parents Pete (Jordan Klepper) and Sharon McGee (Sumalee Montano), while Scratch wrestles with the rules and expectations of the spectral realm. Each episode is a brisk stand-alone mishap built from everyday school, neighborhood and household problems tangled up with supernatural complications. The tone is warm, bright and playful, with a gentle sense of humor and a steady emphasis on loyalty and found family. Fans of Amphibia, The Owl House and Casper will find resonance in its blend of whimsical magic, animated friendship and kid-friendly comedy.
