## Synopsis

Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency (2019) is a South Korean scripted romantic comedy created by Kim Yi Rang for JTBC. When the newly crowned king Lee Soo (Seo Ji-hoon) hires the Flower Crew matchmaking agency, its members Ma Hoon (Kim Min-jae), Go Young-soo (Park Ji-hoon) and Do Joon (Byeon Woo-seok) must transform his first love, Gae-Ddong (Gong Seung-yeon), into a noble woman worthy of the palace. The engine of the show is a series of schemes, disguises and social lessons as the agents scramble to meet a client whose wishes shift with his feelings. Each episode is built from a fresh matchmaking assignment layered over a continuing romantic tangle among the agents and the court. Set in Joseon dynasty Korea, the series blends modern dating-agency energy with royal court formality, producing a playful, breezy tone with flashes of sincerity and romantic tension. Its sixteen seventy-minute episodes form one season, a single continuing story rather than a case-of-the-week format. Fans of Rooftop Prince, Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo and Mr. Sunshine will find resonance in its blend of palace intrigue, romance and comedic period charm, though its reception has been mixed.
