## Synopsis

Blinded (2019-present) is a Swedish national-television psychological financial thriller series created by Jesper Harrie for TV4 and C More First. Financial reporter Bea Farkas (Julia Ragnarsson) receives an anonymous tip about irregularities at a major Swedish bank, and her pursuit of the story becomes a dangerous balancing act. Her investigation is complicated by a love affair with the bank's married chief executive, Peder Rooth (Matias Varela), while his wife Sophie Rooth (Julia Dufvenius) and other figures around the institution add pressure from the edges of the frame. Each season builds on the last as Bea digs through boardroom documents, meetings and loyalties, with the stakes rising as the cover-up deepens. Based on Carolina Neurath's novel, which draws on real events, the series is a grounded, tense drama with a cold, controlled atmosphere, where corporate offices and Stockholm settings feel quietly oppressive. Its tone is paranoid and intimate, a moral thriller in the vein of Industry and Borgen, with fans of corporate scandal and journalism procedurals likely to find resonance. Across three seasons, it sustains a slow-burning sense of dread about who can be trusted and what truth costs.
