## Synopsis

The World According to Jeff Goldblum (2019-2022) is an American science documentary docuseries created for Disney+ and produced with National Geographic. Jeff Goldblum hosts and appears as himself in every episode, bringing his inquisitive, theatrical charm to a format built around ordinary things people love. Each half-hour episode picks a familiar object, such as sneakers or ice cream, and pulls on it like a thread, unspooling connections into fascinating science, history, and the stories of striking people who work with or think about these things. Rather than a single continuing narrative, the show is a collection of self-contained deep dives, so viewers can jump in anywhere. Across two seasons and twenty-two episodes, the mood stays breezy, joyful, and quietly awed, with Goldblum's enthusiasm doing much of the emotional work. Fans of Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey, Mythbusters, and Brain Games will find a similar blend of accessible learning and playful host-led wonder. It suits family viewing and anyone who enjoys having their everyday world made strange and delightful again.
