## Synopsis

Mucize Doktor (2019-2021) is a Turkish FOX medical drama series adapted from the Korean series Good Doctor and starring Taner Ölmez as Dr. Ali Vefa, a young surgical resident with autism savant syndrome. Across two seasons and 64 episodes, Ali joins a prestigious Istanbul hospital where colleagues doubt his abilities, and he must prove his genius one difficult case at a time. Dr. Ferman Eryiğit (Onur Tuna), Dr. Nazlı Gülengül (Sinem Ünsal) and Dr. Tanju Korman (Murat Aygen) form the circle of colleagues whose rivalry, friendship and suspicion shape each week's operating room drama. The engine of the series is Ali's struggle to be trusted: each patient becomes a test of skill and of belonging, while his personal life brings friendship, professional envy and first love into the wards. Its episodes are long, mostly self-contained medical cases threaded through a slowly developing ensemble arc, giving the show the rhythm of a hospital procedural with serialized relationships. Set in contemporary Istanbul, the series carries a warm, hopeful tone, tender toward its outsider protagonist while keeping the tension of emergency surgery. Fans of The Good Doctor, Grey's Anatomy and House will find resonance in its blend of medical puzzle solving and humane character drama.
