## Synopsis

Cautious Hero: The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious (2019) is a Japanese anime series created as a light novel adaptation and produced by White Fox and Digital Noise, broadcast on AT-X. Goddess Ristarte summons Seiya Ryuuguuin, voiced by Yuuichirou Umehara, into the fantasy world of Gaeabrande to save it. Seiya has enormous power, yet he is obsessed with muscle training and buying extra armor, approaching even low-level creatures with extreme care. Each twelve-episode season of twenty-four-minute episodes is built around one cautious mission at a time, with the hero's preparation driving much of the humor. Supporting characters Ariadoa, voiced by Hibiku Yamamura, Mash, voiced by Kengo Kawanishi, and Elulu, voiced by Aoi Koga, react to his overcautious habits. The tone is light, self-aware and parodic, poking fun at isekai conventions and video game style power progression while keeping a warm, comic energy. Fans of KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! and The Rising of the Shield Hero will find resonance in its playful take on the genre.
