## Synopsis

The Flight Attendant (2020-2022) is an American dark comedy mystery series created by Steve Yockey and streamed on HBO Max, adapted from a novel. Kaley Cuoco plays Cassie Bowden, a hungover flight attendant who wakes in a Dubai hotel room beside a dead body and cannot recall the night before. Rather than call the police, she carries on with her morning, then finds herself questioned by FBI agents about a recent layover in Bangkok. Her engine is a double pull: she wants to clear her name and piece together her blackouts, while her drinking, her evasions and a growing circle of suspicious figures keep dragging her deeper. Michiel Huisman plays Alex Sokolov, a figure whose motives remain tangled with hers, and Zosia Mamet plays Annie Mouradian, her friend and a steadying presence. Each episode unspools a fresh layer of the night's puzzle, with flashbacks, international locations and brittle comic timing carrying the story across two seasons of sixteen episodes in total. The overall texture is glossy, anxious and darkly funny, with a jet-set glamour undercut by real dread. Fans of Killing Eve, Fleabag and Dead to Me will find resonance in its flawed heroine, its mounting unease and its sharp tonal swings between laughter and fear.
