## Synopsis

The Family Man (2019-present) is an Indian Hindi-language spy thriller series created by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. for Prime Video. Manoj Bajpayee plays Srikant Tiwari, a middle-class operative in a special cell of the National Investigation Agency who tries to stop terrorist plots while concealing his dangerous, poorly paid work from his wife Suchitra (Priyamani) and his children. The engine of the show is the strain of that double life: each season builds around a new threat, with field raids, tense interrogations and covert operations cutting against scenes of school runs, strained dinners and marital friction. Colleagues such as JK Talpade (Sharib Hashmi) add dry humor to the office bureaucracy that surrounds the danger. The show runs as a serialized story across three seasons and twenty-six episodes, with each season carrying its own escalating crisis. Its tone mixes propulsive action with wry, domestic warmth, and it is set in contemporary India, moving between Mumbai and the wider subcontinent. Fans of Homeland, Alias and Tiger Zinda Hai will find resonance in its blend of espionage and everyday family drama.
