## Synopsis

Regreso a la guaca (2009) is a Colombian telenovela style drama series created by Clara María Ochoa for RCN, a single season of thirty episodes running about 44 minutes each. Lieutenant Víctor Solórzano, played by Marlon Moreno, leads a group of soldiers who, after serving part of a sentence in a military prison for appropriating a millionaire FARC cove, regain their freedom only to find themselves penniless and marked by society. Their struggle to rebuild livelihoods and escape the shadow of their past drives each episode, with principal figures such as Mayor Álvaro Loaiza, played by Salvador del Solar, and Silvio Lloreda, played by Diego Cadavid, entangled in the consequences of that old crime. The engine is the gap between the men's discipline and a civilian world that refuses to forgive them, building a steady run of confrontations, betrayals and uneasy alliances. Set in contemporary Colombia against the lingering legacy of the armed conflict, the series carries a gritty, melodramatic register, mixing action beats with the heavy emotional weight of wounded pride and fractured loyalty. Fans of Narcos, Escobar: El Patrón del Mal and Sons of Anarchy will find resonance in its blend of criminal history, serialized melodrama and the grit of men pushed to the margins.
