## Synopsis

Seis Manos (2019) is a US adult animated action series created by Brad Graeber and Álvaro Rodríguez for Netflix, produced with Powerhouse Animation Studios. Orphans raised by a martial arts master, led by Isabela, voiced by Aislinn Derbez, and Wallace Brister, voiced by Mike Colter, are pulled into a dangerous mystery that links drug cartels with demonic powers, ancient rituals and blood sacrifice. Danny Trejo voices Baldemar, and Vic Chao and Angélica Vale join the principal voice cast. The engine of the story is the group's attempt to uncover what is behind the sinister forces threatening them while fighting through cartel territory, with each episode built around a fight sequence that pushes the mystery forward. The show runs eight episodes as a single self-contained arc, a tightly paced limited run. Set in 1970s Mexico and its border region, the series carries a gritty, violent and occult atmosphere, with a tense, grounded crime texture and a sense of loyalty tested by brutal circumstances. Its tone mixes dark menace with sharp martial arts choreography and some misplaced humor. Fans of Blood of Zeus, Castlevania and Kung Fu will find resonance in its blend of animated action, crime grit and supernatural intrigue.
