## Synopsis

Canada's Drag Race (2020-present) is a Canadian reality competition series created by RuPaul, Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato for Crave, the Canadian streaming service. Hosted and judged by Brooke Lynn Hytes, with fashion stylist Brad Goreski, choreographer Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman, model Stacey McKenzie and stylist Traci Melchor on the panel, the show follows drag queens who showcase their charisma, nerve and talent to win the title of Canada's Next Drag Superstar and a $100,000 grand prize. Each episode builds around a weekly challenge, from runway looks and comedic performances to acting and songwriting tasks, with contestants eliminated until one remains. Across six seasons and fifty-six episodes, it is a camp-driven, big-hearted spin off of the RuPaul franchise, a sequence of glamorous showcases paired with sharp, affectionate critique. The tone is exuberant and playful, with moments of vulnerability as performers talk about their home towns and their paths to the stage. Fans of RuPaul's Drag Race, Drag Race UK and Canada's Got Talent will find resonance in its blend of pageantry, queer community and competitive energy.
