## Synopsis

Exit (2019-2023) is a Norwegian dark comedy drama series created by Øystein Karlsen for NRK1. Based on the true stories of four men in their mid-thirties who became multi-millionaires before turning thirty, the show follows Henrik Kranz (Tobias Santelmann), William Bergvik (Pål Sverre Hagen) and Jeppe Schøitt (Jon Øigarden) as they try to flee the obligations, expectations and family lives that money was supposed to free them from. Their engine is restlessness: they reach for drugs, prostitutes and a private code of morals that bends whenever it becomes inconvenient, and each episode tracks the costs of their escapes as they collide with the people waiting at home, including Tomine Kranz (Sonja Wanda) and Hermine Veile (Agnes Kittelsen). The series runs three seasons and twenty-four episodes, moving in a continuous story across Oslo's affluent circles. Its tone is bleak yet darkly funny, a mix of wry dialogue and unsparing self-examination. Fans of Succession and Borgen will find resonance in its portrait of privileged characters undone by their own appetites, and the show suits viewers who enjoy morally compromised antiheroes and Nordic television.
