## Synopsis

Victoria Small (2019-2021) is an Argentine dramedy series created by Erika Halvorsen and Daniel Burman for Telefe. Its story follows Jazmín Jorgensen (Julieta Díaz), Bárbara Salvatierra (Natalie Pérez), Emma Uriburu (Mariana Genesio Peña) and Selva Antúnez (Inés Estévez), four women whose lives become tangled around the arrival of a newborn girl named Victoria, played as a child by Lola Loyacono and later by Mica Suárez. Jazmín is an adoptive mother, Bárbara a surrogate, Emma a transgender sperm donor, and Selva a stranger who happened to be in the right place at the right time, so the household is built from choice and circumstance rather than a traditional family template. Each episode turns on the small, concrete negotiations of shared child rearing, from schedules and money to clashing personalities and old resentments, while the women must put their differences aside to raise the girl together. The mood is warm, humorous and tender, with an emotional register that balances laughter and domestic tension. Across a first season of fifty-one episodes and a shorter second season, the series builds a patient portrait of Buenos Aires family life. Viewers who enjoy Modern Family, One Day at a Time, or intimate Latin American domestic dramedies will find the same blend of heart and everyday chaos.
