## Synopsis

You Cannot Hide (2019) is a Mexican crime thriller series created by Marcos Santana for Telemundo, a single-season run of ten 44-minute episodes. After Lidia, a woman who agrees to cooperate with the DEA against her husband's drug trafficking, is relocated to Spain with her teenage daughter, she tries to rebuild a quiet life under a new identity. Blanca Soto plays Mónica, the wife and mother at the center of the story, while Eduardo Noriega plays Daniel, a figure whose ties to the past complicate every move she makes. Maribel Verdú plays Inspectora Urrutia, the investigator whose pursuit keeps the stakes tangible. The engine of the show is simple and relentless: a woman who wants only safety for her child must keep outrunning the criminal world she thought she had left behind. Each episode layers a new threat, a new betrayal, and a new hunt across a Spanish landscape that feels ordinary until danger arrives. Tone is tense and anxious, with a constant undercurrent of maternal dread and paranoia. Fans of Ozark and Narcos will find resonance in its cartel menace and family-under-siege structure. The single season moves briskly toward a dark and unsettling close.
