## Synopsis

Obliterated (2023) is a American comedy action series created by Hayden Schlossberg, Jon Hurwitz and Josh Heald for Netflix. Shelley Hennig stars as Ava Winters, leading a special forces team whose members, including Nick Zano as Chad McKnight and Terrence Terrell as Trunk, are more comfortable with a bottle than a weapon. Their engine is simple: they thwart a deadly plot in Sin City and celebrate with a party, but when a real threat emerges, they must sober up fast to save Las Vegas. Each of the eight episodes of this single season mixes brisk action set pieces with crude, drug-laced jokes and bawdy team banter. The tone is cheerful and irreverent, a dramedy that plays danger for laughs while giving the squad enough heart to hold the chaos together. The Las Vegas setting, with its neon nightlife and casino excess, frames the high-stakes shootouts and hangover gags. Fans of Hot Fuzz, The Boys and Community will find resonance in its blend of spoof, camaraderie and explosive absurdity. The series is a sharp, loud, deliberately lightweight ride for viewers who want action without seriousness.
