## Synopsis

Swagger (2021-2023) is an American teen sports drama series created by Reggie Rock Bythewood for Apple TV. The story follows Isaac 'Ike' Edwards (O'Shea Jackson Jr.), a basketball prodigy who must navigate a maze of pressure if he is going to overcome the odds stacked against him. Around him, Isaiah Hill plays Jace Carson, Quvenzhané Wallis plays Crystal Jarrett, and Shinelle Azoroh plays Jenna Carson, each figure tied to the ambitions, loyalties and rivalries that surround a talented young player in a competitive high school athletic world. The engine of the series is the constant push and pull between raw talent and the demands of coaches, families, schools and the wider sports machine, with each episode built around games, practices and the personal decisions that follow them. Across two seasons and eighteen episodes, the show stays grounded in a contemporary American high school setting, balancing locker room tension with quieter scenes of home life and friendship. Its tone is earnest and driven, with a hopeful undercurrent about identity and self-belief. Fans of Friday Night Lights and One Tree Hill will find resonance in its portrait of young athletes carrying heavy expectations. The series was canceled on Apple TV, leaving its story unfinished.
