## Synopsis

FBI: Most Wanted (2020-2025) is an American network police procedural created by René Balcer for CBS and a spin-off of the franchise's FBI lineage. Julian McMahon plays SSA Jess LaCroix, a seasoned agent who leads a mobile undercover unit called the Fugitive Task Force, while Dylan McDermott as Remy Scott and Shantel VanSanten as Nina Chase work alongside him in the field. The engine of each hour is a manhunt: the team goes after a notorious criminal on the Bureau's Most Wanted list, tracking leads across state lines, going undercover to close in on the target, and dealing with the danger of each capture. Episodes are largely self-contained case-of-the-week stories, but a season-long thread of personal stakes runs through the team. The six seasons, spanning 2020 to 2025 in broadcast, follow a steady rhythm of stakeouts, arrests and tense confrontations. Set in a present-day United States, the series carries a brisk, propulsive, action-driven tone with a dash of earnestness about justice. Fans of Criminal Minds, The Blacklist and NCIS will find resonance in its team-based pursuit of criminals and its procedural machinery.
