## Synopsis

Love Me (2019-2020) is a Swedish dramedy series created by Josephine Bornebusch for Viaplay. Its ensemble centers on Clara, played by Bornebusch, with Johan Ulveson as Sten, Gustav Lindh as Aron and Sverrir Gudnason as Peter, and the story follows how friendship, grief and romance intersect across three generations of people living in Stockholm. Over two seasons of twelve episodes in total, the show moves through the small domestic upheavals of its characters, where a loss reshapes a friendship, a new attraction complicates an old bond, and family members who barely speak must still share the same rooms at holidays. Each episode is built from ordinary conversations, awkward dinners and private confessions, with the comedy arising from social discomfort and the drama from what goes unsaid. The tone is wry yet tender, melancholic at its edges but ultimately warm, and the atmosphere is distinctly urban, with cafes, apartments and waterfront walks giving the city a lived-in texture. Viewers who enjoy Fleabag, Girls and other character-driven relationship comedies with emotional undercurrents will find resonance here.
