## Synopsis

Face to Face (2019-2023) is a Danish nordic noir crime series created by Christoffer Boe and Anna Juul for Viaplay. Bjørn Rasmussen, played by Ulrich Thomsen, is a police officer who refuses to accept that his daughter's death was suicide. Everyone around him wants the matter closed, and he must push past colleagues and doubters to uncover what actually happened. Trine Dyrholm, Lars Mikkelsen and Søren Malling appear among the principal cast as the people whose stories intersect with his hunt. The engine of the show is a single obsessive pursuit: each episode tightens the net a little further, stakes rise, and the suspense builds steadily toward the truth. Across three seasons of eight episodes each, it plays as one continuing investigation rather than a case of the week. The tone is bleak, intense and claustrophobic, with grief and moral compromise hanging over every scene. Fans of The Killing, The Bridge and Broadchurch will find the same brooding Scandinavian atmosphere and the same relentless, personal detective work.
