## Synopsis

The Unlisted (2019) is an Australian family science fiction series created by Justine Flynn for ABC Me. Twelve-year-old identical twins Dru Sharma (Vrund Rao) and Kal Sharma (Ved Rao) discover that the government is secretly tracking and manipulating young people across Australia through electronic tracking devices. Their engine is a quiet, escalating investigation: the brothers must piece together what the authorities are doing while staying one step ahead of officials who are watching them. The series runs a single season of fifteen short episodes, each about twenty-five minutes, and plays as a serialized mystery in which each discovery opens onto a larger hidden system. Set in contemporary Australia, it blends everyday suburban life with a creeping sense of surveillance. The tone is brisk, earnest and suspenseful without becoming frightening, foregrounding the bond between the twins and the unease of growing up under unseen watch. Fans of Stranger Things, The Goldbergs and Odd Squad will find resonance in its young protagonists, secret institutions and family-friendly sense of adventure. Its cancellation left the central conspiracy largely open.
