## Synopsis

Perfect Life (2019-2021) is a Spanish comedy-drama series created by Leticia Dolera for Movistar Plus. Dolera also stars as María, a meticulous woman whose carefully built life plan begins to fall apart after her long-term boyfriend dumps her and she finds herself pregnant from a one-night stand. Her sister Esther (Aixa Villagrán) and best friend Cristina (Celia Freijeiro) are determined to see her through, and their loyal, often abrasive support gives the show its heart. Each short episode, around twenty-five minutes long, is built from the everyday collisions of work, romance, family obligations and friendship in contemporary Madrid, with María's composure repeatedly giving way to panic and improvisation. The series runs two seasons across fourteen episodes and balances sharp, profane humor with genuine vulnerability about motherhood and self-image. Its tone is frank, irreverent and warm, closer to a messy confessional than a polished sitcom. Fans of Fleabag, Insecure and Sexo en Nueva York will find resonance in its candid female perspective and its mix of wit and emotional bruises.
