## Synopsis

Diary of a Future President follows Elena, a twelve-year-old Cuban-American girl in a contemporary American middle school, who narrates her days through a private diary while plotting a path to becoming the first president of the United States. Her world is built from everyday school dilemmas, friendship squabbles, awkward crushes, and family pressures, all of which feel enormous at her age. Tess Romero anchors the cast with a sincere, earnest performance, supported by a circle of classmates and relatives who push her to grow. The series runs two seasons across twenty half-hour episodes on Disney+, and its register is light, warm, optimistic and kid-friendly, with witty asides that let her voice carry the humor. It is a comfortable, uncomplicated watch about how big ambitions start in small hallways, how family shapes identity, and how friendship survives the awkward years. Viewers who enjoy young heroines, family humor, and gentle growing-up stories will feel right at home.
