## Synopsis

Never Twice (2019-2020) is a South Korean soap drama created by Koo Hyun-sook for MBC, a single-season run of 72 episodes. Rather than follow one protagonist, the series gathers a diverse group of long-term guests at an old inn, with Park Se-wan as Geum Bak-Ha, Kwak Dong-yeon as Na Hae-Joon, Youn Yuh-jung as Bok Mak-Rye and Oh Ji-ho as Gam Poong-Ki among its principal players. The engine is the shifting web of romance and rivalry among these guests, who pursue new attachments, clash over old grudges and gradually grow as people. Each episode is built from the small social moments of shared inn life, camping-style outings and the couples whose chemistry rises and falls over time. Its shape is a single long serialized run of daily-style episodes rather than a case-of-the-week format. Set in contemporary Seoul and its surroundings, the series carries a gentle, warm and sometimes wistful register, and its emphasis on ensemble relationships and personal growth gives it a comforting, character-driven feel. Viewers who enjoy multi-couple romance and communal family drama in the manner of Korean soap traditions will find it familiar terrain, and fans of Golden Time and Cheese in the Trap will recognize its blend of romance, rivalry and everyday comedy.
