## Synopsis

Love with Flaws (2019-2020) is a South Korean romantic comedy series created for MBC and its MBC Drama channel in the k-drama tradition. Across a single 32-episode season of roughly thirty-minute episodes, the show follows Lee Kang-Woo (Ahn Jae-hyun), a narcissistic attention-seeker, and a physical education teacher who has sworn off handsome men, the two drifting from mutual irritation toward an unlikely romance. Supporting roles include Lee Min-Hyeok (Kim Tae-hyung), Joo Seo-Yeon (Oh Yeon-seo), and Kim Mi-Kyung (Kim Seul-gi), whose tangled connections keep the plot moving. The engine of the story is the friction between two damaged people who would rather not need anyone, with misunderstandings, school-world mishaps, and old wounds surfacing episode by episode. The show plays its eccentric characters for laughs while letting the emotional undercurrent of trauma and first love deepen. The tone is breezy and warm, with comedic bickering giving way to tender moments. Set in a contemporary South Korean school setting, it is a light, bittersweet romance for viewers who enjoy the quirky pairings of Coffee Prince and the classmate-centered charm of Boys Over Flowers. Fans of those titles will find a familiar, cozy rhythm here.
