## Synopsis

Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector (2020) is a United States crime drama created by Mark Bianculli and VJ Boyd for NBC. Across one ten-episode season, the story follows Lincoln Rhyme, a former NYPD forensic genius sidelined after a serious accident at the hands of a notorious serial killer. Rhyme wants to see his nemesis caught, but he is confined and must work through others. His engine is Amelia Sachs, an intuitive young officer with a gift for profiling, who becomes hot on the killer's trail. Each episode is built around a fresh crime scene, a stream of physical evidence, and a tense cat and mouse pursuit, with The Bone Collector lurking behind every clue. Rhyme's sharp mind and Sachs's instinct form a partnership that drives the case forward. The tone is taut, grim and methodical, with a procedural rhythm and an atmosphere of constant dread. Fans of The Bone Collector, Bones and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation will find resonance here. The series was canceled after its single season, leaving its central hunt unfinished.
