## Synopsis

Nurses (2020-2021) is a Canadian scripted medical drama that aired on Global TV. Following five young nurses working on the frontlines of a busy hospital in downtown Toronto, the series centers on Grace Knight (Tiera Skovbye), Ashley Collins (Natasha Calis), Keon Colby (Jordan Johnson-Hinds), Nazneen Khan (Sandy Sidhu) and Wolf Burke (Donald MacLean Jr.). Their engine is the constant pull between caring for patients on overcrowded wards and keeping their own lives from falling apart, with each episode built from shift-by-shift emergencies and the personal fallout that follows them home. The show runs for two seasons and twenty episodes of roughly forty-five minutes each, told as one continuing story rather than isolated cases. Its tone is earnest, warm and emotionally direct, with a steady undercurrent of exhaustion and vulnerability. Set in contemporary Toronto, it sits within the tradition of hospital ensemble dramas, and fans of Grey's Anatomy, Saving Hope and The Resident will find a familiar mix of medical urgency and young colleagues finding their footing.
