## Synopsis

Jujutsu Kaisen (2020-present) is a Japanese animated supernatural action series created from the manga by Gege Akutami and produced by MAPPA for MBS and TBS. It follows Yuji Itadori, a physically gifted high school student, who swallows the finger of the dangerous curse Ryomen Sukuna to save a classmate and now shares his body with it. Guided by the powerful sorcerer Satoru Gojo, Yuji enters Tokyo Jujutsu High School, a hidden academy that trains sorcerers to hunt and exorcise curses born from human fear and negativity. The engine of the show is Yuji's struggle to control the entity inside him while fighting increasingly monstrous curses, and each episode is built around a sharp, kinetic battle with cursed energy alongside quieter scenes of classmates bonding over meals and training. The series moves through its story in a serialized shonen format, with tournaments and dark arcs carrying a tone that mixes exuberant humor with grim, tragic violence. Its atmosphere blends neon-lit urban nights with a hidden world of dread. Fans of Demon Slayer, Blue Exorcist and Chainsaw Man will find much to enjoy here.
