## Synopsis

Aynen Aynen (2019-2021) is a Turkish romantic comedy series created by Yunus Ozan Korkut for BluTV. Nilperi Şahinkaya plays Nil and Uraz Kaygılaroğlu plays Emir, a couple whose story begins with a very first date and moves through the ordinary friction of modern courtship. Beyhan Kübra Esen as Sinem, Hira Koyuncuoğlu as Ozge, Ahmet Kayakesen as Timur and Serkan Şengül as Muhittin round out the regular cast, with Kerem Bürsin and Diyar Karataş in supporting roles. The engine of the show is the gap between the versions of themselves that the pair present to each other and the people they truly are, and each brief episode of about eight minutes turns one small situation into a sharp joke. Across six seasons and forty-four episodes the series stays a light, breezy sitcom-style study of relationships, holding up a mirror to society without heavy drama. Its tone is playful, witty and warm, with a grounded contemporary Istanbul setting. Viewers who enjoy How I Met Your Mother or Catastrophe will recognize the same mix of banter, awkward romance and social observation, packaged as a short, easy watch that suits a quick episode between other plans.
