## Synopsis

Kuruluş Osman (2019-2025) is a Turkish historical action drama series created by Mehmet Bozdağ for atv, the continuation of Diriliş Ertuğrul. Burak Özçivit plays Osman Bey, son of Ertuğrul and destined founder of the Ottoman Empire, who must turn a small Turkic tribe into a sovereign state. Yıldız Çağrı Atiksoy plays Malhun Hatun, Özge Törer plays Bala Hatun, and Emre Basalak plays Gündüz Bey, each shaping the tribe's loyalties and rivalries. The engine of the series is Osman's struggle to prove himself as both warrior and leader while battling the Byzantine Empire, Mongol forces and treachery from within. Its six seasons unfold as one continuing saga of battles, sieges, alliances and betrayals, with episodes running about two hours. Set in thirteenth-century Anatolia, the show evokes a sweeping frontier world of horseback warfare, tribal councils and fortress struggles. Its tone is earnest and grand, built on faith, honour and sacrifice. Fans of Diriliş: Ertuğrul, The Last Kingdom and Game of Thrones will find resonance in its epic scale and dynastic ambition.
