## Synopsis

Medical Police (2020) is a single-season American comedy series created by Rob Corddry, Krister Johnson, Jonathan Stern and David Wain for Netflix. Doctors Owen Maestro (Rob Huebel) and Lola Spratt (Erinn Hayes) leave Children's Hospital behind and join a secret arm of the CDC, where they are sent into covert operations to investigate and destroy a deadly global virus. The engine of the show is the collision between clinical competence and reckless field work, with each ten-episode run built from mission setups, improvised stunts and escalating absurdity. Malin Akerman appears as Valerie Flame in a recurring role. The tone is deadpan and irreverent, a satirical spoof that pokes fun at black ops thrillers and medical drama alike, with broad slapstick and parody beats. Its shape is a short, self-contained comic arc rather than a long saga. Fans of Reno 911!, Hot Shots! and Scrubs will find resonance in its mix of workplace absurdity and genre parody. The show was canceled after its single season, so the story stops without a full resolution.
