## Synopsis

Someday or One Day (2019-2020) is a Taiwanese television romance series created by Chi-Feng Chien for STAR Chinese Channel and CTV. Alice Ko plays Yu-Hsuan, a young woman mourning her boyfriend Chuan-Sheng after a plane accident. When she discovers an old photograph in which a girl resembling her stands beside Chuan-Sheng, she finds herself transported back to 1998, where she meets a boy who looks exactly like him, played by Greg Hsu. Her engine is simple and aching: she wants to hold on to the love she lost, while the past resists every attempt to reshape it. Across a single season of thirteen long episodes, the story unfolds through alternating timelines, with each return to 1998 raising new questions about identity, fate and the cost of altering the past. Patrick Shih and Kenny Yen fill out a web of relationships that tangles across both eras. Set in late twentieth century Taiwan, the series carries a wistful, nostalgic atmosphere, with period textures and quiet melancholy foregrounded. It is a gentle, emotional time travel romance in the spirit of Your Lie in April and About Time, for viewers who love tender tragedy wrapped in a love story that refuses to let go.
