## Synopsis

We're Here (2020-2024) is an American reality competition series created by Stephen Warren and Johnnie Ingram for HBO. Former RuPaul's Drag Race stars Bob the Drag Queen, Eureka O'Hara and Shangela coach a group of small-town residents from across the country, recruited as their drag daughters, toward a single one-night-only drag show. Each episode follows the drag daughters as they are taught to step outside their comfort zones, learning makeup, wigs, performance and confidence while confronting the doubts and prejudices of home communities. Sasha Velour, Priyanka, Jaida Essence Hall and Latrice Royale appear as additional mentors and performers across the run. The engine of the show is transformation: each participant must move from nervousness toward a public display of self, and every episode builds toward the climactic performance. The format runs across four seasons and spans a range of small towns, giving the show a grounded, community-centered feel. Its tone is playful, affirming and sincere, with moments of defiance and joy that celebrate queer visibility. Fans of RuPaul's Drag Race, Queer Eye and other uplifting transformation series will find resonance in its warmth and its celebration of identity and pride.
