## Synopsis

Legend of Fei (2020-2021) is a Chinese wuxia fantasy romance series created by Priest and broadcast on Tencent Video. Zhao Liying plays Zhou Fei, a young woman raised inside a mountain stronghold built to oversee the martial arts world, who finally sets out to see life beyond its walls. On the road she reunites with the enigmatic swordsman Xie Yun, played by Wang Yibo, and the two become entangled in a shifting web of danger, hidden motives and political rivalry. Supporting principals include Zhang Huiwen as Wu Chuchu and Chen Ruoxuan as Li Sheng, whose loyalties and histories add layers to the journey. The engine of the story is Zhou Fei's search for her own place in a jianghu full of rival sects, secret plots and swordplay, with each stretch of the journey built around a new encounter, a new fight or a new secret. Presented as a single 51-episode season of about forty-five minutes each, it follows one continuing storyline rather than standalone cases. The tone blends adventurous sword fights with a slow-building romance and a melancholic undercurrent of loss. Fans of The Untamed, Ashes of Love and Eternal Love will find resonance in its lush costume aesthetics and its mix of romance and martial arts peril.
