## Synopsis

My Holo Love (2020) is a South Korean science fiction romance series created by Lee Sang-yeop and Ryu Yong-jae for Netflix. Yoon Hyun-min plays Ko Nan-do and his holographic double Holo, a humanlike hologram who looks exactly like his prickly creator. Ko Sung-hee plays Han So-yeon, the lonely woman whose life is quietly rearranged when she forms a connection with him. Choi Yeo-jin, CHANSUNG and Kang Seung-hyun fill out the orbit of colleagues, friends and rivals around them. The engine of the single season is simple and emotionally direct: a guarded woman, a creator who resents his own likeness, and a hologram that must learn what it means to care about someone. Episodes unfold as a twelve-episode serialized run of about fifty-seven minutes each, building one continuing romance rather than standalone stories. Set in contemporary Seoul, the show moves through workplace and everyday domestic life, with the technology framed as a source of intimacy rather than spectacle. Its tone is wistful and tender, with prickly banter softening into sincere longing and a thoughtful interest in loneliness. Fans of Her and My Love from the Star will find resonance in its blend of futuristic romance and warm, character-driven melancholy.
