## Synopsis

Was It Love? (2020) is a South Korean romance miniseries created by Kim Do-hyung for JTBC. After fourteen years without romance, struggling movie producer and single mother Noh Ae Jung (Song Ji-hyo) finds her dormant desire for love stirred when four men enter her life: an author, an actor, a CEO and a younger man. Oh Dae Oh (Son Ho-jun), Ryu Jin (Song Jong-ho) and Oh Yun Woo (Koo Ja-sung) are among the men drawn into her orbit, and the story unfolds across a single sixteen-episode run of seventy-minute episodes. The engine of the show is the tangle of competing attractions and the everyday pressures of film production and parenting that keep Ae Jung from acting on them. Set in contemporary Seoul, the series is a tvN-style romantic comedy drama with a light, breezy register that turns warm and wistful in its quieter moments. Its themes include second chances, the courage to want love again, and the messiness of choosing between people. Fans of Crash Landing on You and What's Wrong with Secretary Kim will find similar romantic warmth and workplace charm, while those who enjoy multi-suitor stories such as Mr. Sunshine will recognize the appeal of a heroine caught between several men.
