## Synopsis

Pokémon: Twilight Wings (2020) is a Japanese animated miniseries and original net animation produced by Studio Colorido and presented on YouTube, a short family-friendly fantasy spun off from the Pokémon franchise. Its seven episodes, each around six minutes long, move through the Galar Region, following residents whose private dreams, everyday realities and personal challenges drift in and out of one another. The engine of the series is simple and human: ordinary people want something they cannot easily reach, and the obstacles they face are emotional rather than dramatic. A recurring figure, the Galar Taxi Driver, voiced by Seiro Ogino, threads the separate stories together, so that each brief episode feels like a passing window onto a different life. The tone is gentle, wistful and warm, with the soft colour and quiet pacing of a kodomo short. The series stays with its characters in small, intimate moments rather than battles or gym contests, and it leans on the Pokémon world's sense of wonder without needing knowledge of the games. Fans of Pokémon Journeys, Pocoyo and Star Wars: Visions will find a similar kinship in its short animated form, its family appeal and its focus on linked standalone stories.
