## Synopsis

Hostel Daze (2019-2023) is an Indian comedy-drama web series broadcast on Prime Video, following four naive and vulnerable wing-mates as they navigate their first semester in a hostel. Ankit Pandey (Adarsh Gourav and Utsav Sarkar) and Chirag Bansal (Luv Vispute) anchor the group, alongside Akanksha Thakur (Ahsaas Channa) and Jaat, played by Shubham Gaur. The engine of the show is simple and relatable: freshmen jostling to survive hostel life, dealing with clashes, petty rivalries, romantic crushes and the constant small debacles of shared rooms and crowded corridors. Each episode is built from these everyday absurdities, chutzpahs and misadventures. Across four seasons and twenty-one episodes, the story unfolds as one continuing arc, with friendships deepening as the characters grow up. The setting is a contemporary Indian college hostel. The tone is breezy, witty and warm, with a comic eye for the grind every hostel resident endures, while still feeling sincere about loyalty and belonging. Fans of TVF Pitchers and Little Things will find resonance in its blend of youthful humor and heartfelt camaraderie.
