## Synopsis

Masters of the Universe: Revelation (2021) is an American animated fantasy series created by Kevin Smith for Netflix. Set on the alien planet Eternia, it follows Prince Adam, who transforms into the sword-wielding hero He-Man (voiced by Chris Wood), as he faces his long-running nemesis Skeletor (voiced by Mark Hamill). Sorceress, Teela, Evil-Lyn and Beast Man (voiced by Susan Eisenberg, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Lena Headey and Kevin Michael Richardson) fill out a voice cast that moves between rival camps as the conflict escalates. The engine of the story is the renewed war for Eternia, with heroes and villains clashing through magical swordplay, shifting alliances and the fragile hope that the battle might finally be decided. Each of its ten roughly twenty-five-minute episodes builds across a single continuing season, with robots, sorcery and ruined landscapes populating a world that blends fantasy and science fiction. The tone starts out nostalgic and bright, recalling the 1980s cartoon, then grows darker and more brooding as the stakes rise. Viewers who love the original toy-based cartoon, along with fans of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, will find familiar heroic energy here, though the reboot's uneven reception has divided longtime fans.
