## Synopsis

Jamtara – Sabka Number Ayega (2020-2022) is an Indian crime drama series created by Soumendra Padhi for Netflix. Set in the small village of Jamtara in India, it follows a group of young men who have built a lucrative phishing operation over the phone lines. Brajesh Bhan (Amit Sial) leads the scheme, and the story turns when a corrupt politician wants a cut of the profits. Inspector Biswa (Dibyendu Bhattacharya) is the cop determined to fight the operation and the politics that protect it. Dolly Sahu (Aksha Pardasany), Sunny (Sparsh Shrivastava) and Gudiya Singh (Monika Panwar) fill out the ensemble of hustlers, families and rivals caught between ambition and survival. The series runs across two seasons and eighteen episodes, a serialized crime story where each episode tightens the pressure on everyone involved. Its tone is tense and gritty, with a cynical view of how ordinary people get drawn into scams when opportunity and corruption meet. Fans of Sacred Games and Narcos will find resonance in its rough small town texture, criminal ambition and the cat and mouse pursuit between outlaws and the law.
