## Synopsis

When the Weather Is Fine (2020) is a South Korean drama series created by Han Ji-seung and Han Ga-ram for JTBC. Drained by city life, a young cellist named Mok Hae-won (Park Min-young) moves to a quiet province village, where she reconnects with an old friend, Im Eun-seop (Seo Kang-joon), who helps her heal and rebuild herself. Around them orbit Lee Jang-u (Lee Jae-wook), Kim Bo-yeong (Im Se-mi) and Shim Myeong-yeo (Moon Jeong-hee), whose lives weave through the town's everyday rhythms. The engine of the series is quiet recovery: a woman learning to trust people again while the small community gently draws her in. Episodes unfold at an unhurried pace, built from family ties, personal diaries, poetry readings and the slow accumulation of small kindnesses. This single-season run of sixteen one-hour episodes is a contemplative, intimate romance with a wistful, cozy register. Its mood is shaped by winter turning to spring, rural calm and reflective pauses. Fans of Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha and Crash Landing on You will find a similar warmth, though this series favors melancholy introspection over comedy and spectacle.
