## Synopsis

Zemheri (2020) is a Turkish romantic drama created by Hilal Saral for Show TV. Firuze (Ayça Ayşin Turan) and Ayaz (Alperen Duymaz) fall deeply in love, but their romance is torn apart when her father is falsely accused in a deadly elevator accident that kills thirteen construction workers. Ayaz finds himself unknowingly entangled in the conspiracy framing her father, and he is forced to choose between the woman he loves and the duty he owes his family. Supporting roles from Caner Cindoruk as Ertan, Hazal Filiz Küçükköse as Berrak, and Şebnem Dönmez as Mehveş deepen the web of loyalties and betrayals around the couple. The engine of the story is a painful separation and a determined, emotionally charged search to find each other again across a single ten-episode run of roughly two-hour instalments. Its tone is melancholic and bittersweet, with heavy melodrama, tearful confrontations and a steady sense of fate working against the lovers. Fans of Kara Sevda and Ezel will find resonance in its blend of forbidden romance, family loyalty and sorrowful sacrifice. The series is a single completed season, set in contemporary Turkey.
